Biography: A young and aspiring actress, Mae Whitman made her movie acting debut at age four in the film "When a Man Loves a Woman," alongside Meg Ryan. The daughter of actress Pat Musick and actor Jeffrey Whitman, Mae currently has over a dozen television and movie credits. Currently, she is best known as the voice of Katara in Nickelodeon's action-adventure cartoon "Avatar: The Last Airbender".

Mae started her career as the voice over for a Tyson Chicken commercial, a role she beat out her mother for.

She has appeared on television shows such as "JAG," "Friends," "Judging Amy," and "Arrested Development."
